Making stamps out of clay, which is much more fun than buying them.
What to bring to class:
- 2 to 3 pounds of Red Stone or B-Mix clay
- Roll out a piece of clay approximately 8″x 8″x 3/4″ thick
- Your tools
- items to create textures
NOTE: Clay with grog like Speckled Buff does not work as well as a grog-free clay.
Instructor
Linda Hall
Linda is a 12 year member of the Clay Club and has been part of the kiln committee. She moved here from Iowa where she also did pottery mostly on the wheel.
She has an Applied Arts degree from Iowa State University.

I’ve been creating things in clay since 2006. I’ve taught beginning hand building, clay stamps, pot-bellied mugs, ornaments, and I’ve mentored new members. Clay Club is my ‘happy place’.
