Glass & Glaze: Nov 2026

Class will add stained glass pieces to previously fired and glazed pieces or bisque pieces that will glazed in class.
Please bring 4 to 5 smallish pieces, either glazed or unglazed. Pieces that work best with the glass are shallow but at least 1.5″ deep with a flat bottom.
If you are a member of the Stained Glass Club, please bring scrap glass to share.
Note: All pieces need to marked ” NOT FOOD SAFE”. An underglaze pencil will be available to do this.

I received a BA in Art from Cal State LA in 1974 and then spent 25 years on the art festival circuit primarily in Florida in the winters and in Chicago and the north east in the summers. Designing, manufacturing and selling polymer clay jewelry. From 1986 to 1996 I taught ceramics to elementary school children, which was truly the best job I ever had. What great fun. I have taken many clay workshops in my life and within the last three years, have consistently worked on my throwing skills at Treasure Coast Pottery in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where I also served as the assistant in dozens of wheel classes. I am so looking forward to sharing with those who wish to learn on the wheel.
