Cactus

In this class you will learn how to create a cactus. It won’t be realistic, but hopefully be recognizable as one. These are perfect for indoor or outdoor use.
SUPPLIES:
- Clay** – your choice; rolled 3/8”, no thinner
- Cylinder – size of your choice, maximum diameter 6”, minimum 2” diameter
- Square – if you have one
- Clay tools – standard
- Wooden ball on a stick that fits inside cylinder
- Magic water or slip
- Turntable with newspaper covered ware board
There will be cylinders, squares and a wooden ball on a stick to share. It will be a very friendly class so also bring your smiles.
**Size rolled depends upon the size of your chosen cylinder. It is not exact, it should be enough to wrap the cylinders and have enough for extras.
6” cylinder – roll slab 27”w X 12”h. 2” cylinder – roll 14”w X 7”h
